The Straight Georgian is a combination of cast and machined components. With heavy cast legs that angle outwards as opposed to point directly towards the room. This firegrate opens up, making it a good fit for Rumford style fireplaces that have a sizable front width and a very narrow back width. In other words, this unit can be used in a strongly trapezoidal fireplace where the front width is upwards of 36″.
