The Blenheim is a predominately cast firegrate with large striking finials. The beautiful cast fretwork and cast iron back is sure to catch your eye. This unit has a ceramic firebrick.

NOTE: Originally, a
ceramic firebrick was a detail only included in the finest fire grates. Its
purpose is to help with heating and also to prevent the coal from
warping/deforming the iron back
of the unit. This is because coal is one of the only solid fuels able to
physically melt steel.
