The Dorchester comes in a steel or brass version. With both finish types, the grate comes raw, which means that it is not lacquered. So the grate will age with time. The steel version is a nicely blended all-steel unit. The brass version, as shown in the photos, has the fretwork, finials and decorative side pieces in solid brass. This unit comes with our standard Variable Flame Remote burner, but other options are available, including an electric insert, a knob-controlled pilot burner, a Match Lit burner (only for Natural Gas) and a Ventfree Coal burner.
